Wathnan Racing has finished the week as runners-up on the Leading Owner table at our every Royal meeting — last year the title being decided only by the number of second and third placed horses, when we were bested yet again by the multiple ownership entities of the Coolmore partners. They have been at this for as many decades as we have years and will be tough to overhaul. But we’ll be trying!
