Gold Cup day, also known as Ladies’ Day: the world’s most  prestigious staying race, for many the highlight of the week, for centuries an ultimate test for the thoroughbred. It's the race where Wathnan Racing first made a mark, when Courage Mon Ami stayed courageously unbeaten in 2023. Our involvement on Gold Cup day is slewn towards the later afternoon, and we and the Hamad Al-Jehani stable are multiply represented in the last. Among our foursome is English Oak, runaway hero of this very event two years ago.
